Yes I believe that something like a round of layoffs happened sometime in 2015.
The writing should have been on the wall for the remainder of the bethellites.
The printing era is totally gone. Its alllllll digital.
Bethel no longer serves any purpose.
They can sell those properties,,whats left & they can cloister up the heavies & the ones they only care about like the governing bodies.

He was just booted out with no place to go. He had to call & pay for a cab to the bus station. With only bag full of his clothing.

About obeying the organization at no matter what the cost.
They put a clip in there from a secret leaked video a few years ago. Where a spokesman said the prime objective is the ""organizations image"" or directives.

I dont know where I read it somewhere. But I think it was on Reddit.
The Borg could be doing a callous purge of the older ones before a "massive sellout" or something..
Should there be a rebellion of the victims($heeples) the Borg can do a massive sell-off of all the KHs & assembly halls & go directly on line.
It could very well be in place. The groundwork is there.

By encouraging people to aspire to Bethel. "'Make it your career here"". The end result,,getting punted out while approaching retirement age,,, definitely was NOT the desirable outcome..
This is abundantly clear..
The big A,,,was & always as been no more than 3 - 5 years away,,,right?

by RULES & REGULATIONS inthe bible is full of stories of god intervening on behalf of those that had trust and faith in him.
he rescues his people from various battles, trials and challenges from their enemies.
the rescued individuals or communities are quick to offer praise and gratitude to god for his mighty acts on their behalf.. the story of the israelites’ exodus from egypt and the parting of the red sea is a prime example of god’s powerful deliverance in the bible.

The WT Borg has once again created a situation that results in undesired unintended consequences,,which they created.
We hear it all the time. About "yang" ones forgoing higher education & serving Jehovah(the Borg) by maybe reaching out for Bethel service.
Years go coursing by.,, and those who were "yang" once get an unceremonial kick in the back side when their best years are behind them.

Those at bethel are looked at as rock stars & celebrity status.
Many have aspirations of landing a career there. They look at is lifelong where they can retire.....
I hope these developments make people in the Borg think otherwise,,,,,, that the Borg does NOT have your best interests at heart.
Here they are now knocking on retirement door,,,being sent home to be a burden on probably already a cash strapped family. With probably limited space & high cost of living.
